Easy on the throttle mate, is half the traction…greetings from a Defender 110/TD5 based in switzerland, looking forward to lots of snow….;-)
Ha ha very funny. I would love a Defender but can’t afford will have stick with my 40yr old S2A. good luck in Poland
followed me against my advice…
yeah,
less throttle so as not to spin the wheels.
what was the car doing in there anyway?
thanks for the advice.
If you put it in low gear with the center diff lock and dont kick the gas pedal thru the bottom you can drive easy in that terrain even with that tires.
Yeah it’s always a tough choice on a new vehicle, but I honestly believe a set of BFG AT’s are so good. You don’t notice them on the road and offroad they do bite well. My dad just got a new set on his 90 after getting 65K worth out of the last set. has your 110 got ETC?
A bit new to this… had to stike a balance between 4000 miles on road and 500 off. But would have given anything to have had a good set of AT in the middle of the EU. Thks for your comments. Posting soon about driving in national parks in Poland. Great Fun and Great People.
you really need to get some AT’s at least, those road tires are terrible.
It wasn’t the mud… Wrong type of leaves ! and no space to turn and road tyres… Full lock backwards and forwards… But yes it does look and bit laboured. Must be my driving…
that defender seemed to be having a lot of trouble on what looked like a very small amount of mud… hmm
